Training group

I started shooting with my father at a young age on camping trips, and it didn’t take long before I was hooked.  In 2005, I decided to join the Marine Corps.  I served in the Infantry while holding billets for Combat Marksmanship Coach, Designated Marksman, Team Leader, Squad Leader, and others across 3 deployments.

After 5 years of active duty, I began competing in USPSA, PRS and 3-Gun. This is when I came to the realization that I had no idea how to shoot at a high level compared to the competitive shooters I was surrounded by. I then dedicated myself to developing and learning everything I could about performance shooting, long range, and carbine.  I currently hold a Master classification in both Limited Optics and Carry Optics with USPSA.  I also shoot for and am sponsored by Howitzer.

I have been teaching and competing full time since 2012.  I believe in a systematic approach focused on proper fundamentals that allows the shooter to progress rapidly without the typical bad habits that limit performance. I look forward to guiding you on your shooting journey whether you are a beginner or an experienced shooter looking to level up your game.

I have been a CCW permit holder for approximately 15 years. Over the years, I have used a variety of training companies in an effort to continuously improve my weapons skills and proficiency. I first met Daniel Frazier when I decided to take a precision rifle course which he was instructing. After one afternoon, I discovered his unique and thorough training style. He didn’t just tell you what to do, he told you the why and did it in fashion that was relatable and understandable. I soon decided to take one of his pistol fundamentals courses and was able to expand and increase my skills in a measurable way! I now train with him once a week in a semiprivate session. Daniel is a down to earth guy and a pleasure to train with! No ego just solid info and the ability to make you a better shooter!

Even though I had been shooting for four years prior to meeting Daniel, I consider my first day of shooting to be March 15, 2022 because that was the day of my first lesson with Daniel. This is where I came to the revelation that everything I had learned and solidified was incorrect including my draw, my stance, grip etc. It took several months to wean out the bad habits. I credit Daniel with transforming my shooting world. I was able to go through a successful rebuild due to Daniel’s instruction and mentorship where I am now competing in matches – something I never thought I was capable of doing!

He never allows me to just go through the motions. He catches the minutest of mistakes and can advise a very small tweek or change that can make the difference between an A-Zone hit and a C-Zone hit. He is able to hone in on any mental insecurities or blocks I may be having in executing a skill and pushes me in a very kind and encouraging way beyond what I think I can do. A quality I admire about Daniel and what most other instructors don’t do is that he pushes himself to be better; he is never stagnant. If you are someone that wants to take your game to the next level or just establish the correct fundamentals, do not leave this site without signing up for a class, a clinic or inquiring about a private lesson! You will be happy you did!

I have trained with Daniel for the past two years. During that time, his style of teaching and his attention to technique have consistently provided me with improvements to both competition and law enforcement shooting skills. In addition, his instruction has helped me improve the way I train the officers in my department to elevate their skills. I strongly recommend Daniel to anyone at any skill level who is seeking to push their shooting performance to the next level!

I took Daniel’s Performance Pistol class because I felt I had reached a plateau and wanted to move past just standing and shooting to a more dynamic and performance-based instruction. Daniel did not disappoint! He taught me how to apply proper grip pressure to better manage .40 caliber recoil. This was the catalyst that enabled me to control the gun more easily, shoot faster and more accurately. By continuing to train with Daniel and applying his instruction, I was not only able to shave .5 seconds off my draw from concealment, but I also improved from a C Class competitive shooter to a B class competitive shooter.

The Department of Homeland Security wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Daniel Frazier for his invaluable insights, expertise, and experience in tactical shooting aimed specifically at enhancing the skills of seasoned law enforcement firearms instructors. His utilization of techniques has demonstrated effectiveness in practical law enforcement situations playing a crucial role in identifying and addressing bad habits that I had developed over time.

My tactical training cadre and I have participated in numerous shooting courses throughout the years, but none have stood out quite like the Zedi Performance Shooting training experience with Daniel. His shooting techniques greatly enhanced my speed and precision in dynamic situations. Daniel’s meticulous attention to detail and his capability to recognize and address even the slightest inefficiencies in technique proved to be invaluable. We had an exceptional experience with Zedi Performance Shooting, and we strongly endorse him!

For years, I’ve enjoyed going to the shooting range, but I always felt like I was just going through the motions without proper training. Recently, a friend who also enjoys shooting recommended Daniel Frazier at Zedi Performance Shooting. After just three sessions with Daniel, I can honestly say my shooting has improved dramatically!

Daniel is an incredibly patient instructor. He has a knack for explaining complex concepts using analogies that really help you understand what you need to do. I particularly struggled with trigger control in my first two lessons, but by the third session, something just clicked thanks to Daniel’s guidance. It’s amazing how such a seemingly simple action can have such a significant impact on accuracy when done correctly.

Beyond the technical instruction, Daniel makes the entire experience fun and enjoyable. I’ve already signed up for another three sessions because it’s been such a positive and rewarding experience.

Whether you’re brand new to shooting or have been doing it for a while, I wholeheartedly recommend Daniel Frazier as your shooting instructor. You’ll learn so much and have a great time doing it!

I was initially nervous about learning how to shoot a gun because there seemed to be so many components that come along with it like safety, technique, choosing the right gun etc. I didn’t know what to expect but Daniel made me feel safe and eased my nerves right away. He explained the details of the fundamentals of shooting in a clear manner which was easy to understand. His demeanor and approach to teaching made the process fun and each lesson became a moment to disconnect from the stresses of life and focus on gaining a new skill while truly enjoying it. I have enjoyed it so much that I am on my third 3-Pack of lessons to continue learning. I highly recommend him to anyone but especially to those who might be nervous to start.
